Rev. Dr. Mamie Ruth Moore

Sister Moore’s first pastoral appointment by Rev. John H. Foster, was as Vice-president of the Sanctuary Choir (2004-2008). Resignation became necessary upon entering Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary (Lynchburg, Virginia) in 2007, receiving a Masters Degree in Theological Studies in 2009. The following year, Pastor Jones granted a License to Preach. In 2011, a second Masters Degree in Religious Education was earned and Ordination occurred in 2015. Rev. Moore also acquired a certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education. A Doctor of Ministry degree was granted from Providence Bible College and Theological Seminary, (Portsmouth, Virginia, 2019).

Rev. Moore currently serves as Coordinator of the Family Life Ministries, involving the Healthcare Ministry, Generation One Ministry, Couples Ministry, Men’s Ministry, and Women’s Ministry. The OverComers, a Christ-centered support group was organized and implemented into the Healthcare Ministry. Responsibilities and duties include, continuous follow-up with individual ministries and homebound members, preaching, teaching, healthcare provider, choir member, individual consultations, bereavement and funeral duties, hospital visitations, attending ministry and ministers meetings, local, regional and national conferences, and revivals.

Rev. Moore continues to offer assistance in any manner presented aimed at a successful outcome of each ministry project. The ultimate goal is to serve GOD by serving people as we continue to exalt His Name.


Rev. Sharon Browne

Rev. Dr. Sharon Browne

Chaplain Sharon Browne is currently serving as a Chaplain Recruiter in Dallas Texas for the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC).

She earned her BA from the College of New Rochelle’s School of New Resources, New York Theological Seminary campus in 2002. She began seminary at Drew University in 2002. While in seminary, she sensed the call of God to return to active duty as an Army Chaplain.

In 2007, she earned a Masters of Divinity from Drew University. She received her commission to Active Duty in June 2008 as a US Army Chaplain and deployed again to Kirkuk Iraq.

She is an ordained Minister in the Pentecostal church. She served as the Youth Pastor of Mount Pocono United Methodist Church and as a Volunteer Associate Chaplain for Pocono Medical Center in Mount Pocono, PA. She has served as the senior pastor of Comanche Chapel at Ft. Hood TX and the senior pastor of the Camp Zama Gospel service on Sagimahara Housing Area in Japan and Fort Leonard Wood Gospel Service.

She the mother of four children who she considers to be God’s greatest miracles in her life. Their names are Amanda; James; Joshua and Ashley. She has been blessed to enjoy four grandsons: Jeremiah, Judah, Jamal and Josiah.

She recently earned of a Doctor of Ministry at United Theological Seminary in Dayton Ohio.


Rev. J.D. Glover

 

The Rev. J.D. Glover is a servant at the Shiloh Baptist Church Norfolk, VA, serving as an Associated Minister, led by Senior Pastor Keith I. Jones. Rev. Glover readily supports the Pastor and Church’s vision of being a Beacon of Love, serving Christ by serving the disciples of Shiloh and the people in the surrounding community.

He assists the Pastor in teaching Bible Studies and his current role as Coordinator of the Evangelism, Outreach Ministry, and Men’s Ministry. He believes that “We Evangelize because We Love.” He takes his call to preach as a call to lead; therefore, he is actively engaging the community, shadowing the Pastor as he addresses the issues of social injustice serving as an agent of change in an increasingly unjust society liberating all of God’s people.

He is a servant of the highest God, called and sent by God to bring the Good News to the community that God is able. He has a passion for teaching and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, equipping the saints for Kingdom service. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that overflows in every facet of his life. He is excited and passionate about helping God’s people transform their dreams into realities by understanding their God-given purpose.

Rev. JD has a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies; his hunger and desire to be enriched intellectually and spiritually led him to “The Seminary” The Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology, located on the campus of Virginia Union, receiving a Master’s of Divinity in Theology. He JD Glover believes one must continue to study to show thyself approved by God. He has Completed the Baptist General Convention of Virginia (BGCVA) Pastoral Mentorship & Training Program.

He desires to be a vessel of God declaring to a broken humanity that God is able to keep us from stumbling and falling.
